FIRST EMAIL:

hey Sectional Leaders. most likely the date for the BBQ is confirmed to be on the 17th December Wednesday. Now, i need your help to pass this msg from Tessa. Help ask your section mates if anyone wants to go escape theme park. those who are going, the details are below. those who are not going, we will be meeting at 1.30pm at compass point (details will be confirmed again). SL, please help to compile the 2 sets of name list form your section and send to both me and Tessa by Sunday. Thanks so much! :D

MRT control station at 10am.From there we will take 89(?)
I think so, to Pasir Ris.
Chalet check-in time is only at 2.30pm and so we have to carry our belongings to us.
Please note that chalet is only for ONE DAY and is not some sleepover thingy.
Chalet is open to all members of SJC Band/Current members & Alumni.
Clare has not told me exactly where the chalet is... so I'm not sure, but after a few phonecalls here & there it can be settled.
Extra pair of clothes is needed.
You can wear slippers, (easier esp. if you wanna sit the log ride) but you might get your toes chopped off or something so its your own choice, really..
Ticket in is about $9ish. Holiday price or something?
So, just bring about enough that will feed you for lunch & whatever nonsense you wish to buy @ Escape,
(eg. candy floss, banana peels, whatever.)

Bring your Student Pass just in case... (kiasu lah.)

Adult @ $8.80 (U.P.: up to $17.70)
Child @ $4.80 (U.P.: up to $8.90)

I think most of us are considered Adult tickets for now.
If you wanna fake fake you guys can try, but I think only people like Yvonne Chan can qualify

Chalet: Costa Sands Resort (downtown east)

NOTE: EVERYONE MUZ PAY $10 FOR THE CHALET AND BBQ!! PLZ PAY ME ON THE DAY ITSELF. I DUN CARE. U BETTER PAY IF NOT NO FOOD FOR YOU. (okay lah, im juz kidding. but plz plz plz pay on 17 dec, it will really make life easier for all of us! [ i can pay the different ppl on the spot + i dun have to keep on pestering you for money]

If you are traveling from Pasir Ris Drive 8, you will turn right into Pasir Ris Drive 1. Cruise along Pasir Ris Drive 1 and turn left to Pasir Ris Drive 6. Travel along Pasir Ris Drive 6 and you will reach Downtown East
If you are traveling from Loyang Ave, you will be connected to Pasir Ris Drive 3. Travel along Pasir Ris Drive 3 and you will reach Downtown East. Traffic along Pasir Ris Drive 3 can be heavy at times.

We will be having a christmas cum farewell (for mdm alya) cum escape outing party soon:)))

i've already booked a chalet at downtown east on the 17/18 dec.
my family will be using the chalet for one day and we (the BAND) can use it on the other day.
please ask your section members who are able to come and which day they are free.
(18 dec would be preferable)
elysia and i will then colate the total number of ppl who are able to make it and email u guys again the confirmed date.
please reply and get the numbers ASAP coz we will be catering too!

(please please please please please) x10 try to come!

there will be food, ppl, presents, and even more FOOD.
escape theme park will practically be right infront of ur doorstep!!

what could be better than this to celebrate christmas with ur band mates?!
(gosh, maybe i should enroll myself into an advertising company.)

Hope you girls had fun during band camp! :DD

anyways, you know there's going to be a two week break...
which is kinda scary...
because remember we went for exam break and when we came back, our blue ridge saga was like *pukes*

so the only way to maintain our current nice sound , PRACTISE!

esp. overture no. 1 !
btw, the clarinet solo from light of dawn also need to perfect it :D

we must show them clarinet section is not lousy okay?
i think we are doing well so far! :D
keep it up gals!
